The main day-to-day responsibilities include preparing sterile supplies, maintaining a sterile field, and providing surgeons with sterile supplies and instruments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures, current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist, and a current BLS (AHA) certificate.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
