Role OverviewThe Certified Operating Room Tech is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining sterile field during case and providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures.
What You Will Do
Prepares sterile supplies and instruments for procedures, maintains sterile field, and provides surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures, current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist, and current BLS (AHA) certificate.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
