Requirements

• Current national Personal Trainer certification as recognized by the YMCA
• Experience in developing personalized exercise programs for general populations and for people with specific concerns
• Minimum 1 year of experience in personal training instruction
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred
• Current CPR and First aid certification required
• Experience in conducting scientifically valid fitness assessments
• Effective motivation and communication skills, interpersonal skills, and sales and marketing skills
