Job Description
The Certified Welding Inspector will conduct inspections, review procedures, and support the Quality team in ensuring compliance with codes, customer specifications, and internal standards.

Requirements

  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification preferred
  • Hands-on welding experience and/or supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with ASME B31, ASME BPVC Section VIII, and Section IX
  • Understanding of Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS), filler metal selection, and welder qualification testing
  • Knowledge of welding techniques for carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail, ethical standards, and self-motivation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, be proactive, and assist the Quality team when needed
