Job Description
Role Overview

Provides Spiritual Care services for Hennepin Healthcare system. Works within the Spiritual Care Department to facilitate the team’s ability to meet its goals and objectives. Supports an interdisciplinary approach to spiritual care by participating in unit rounds and meetings.

What You Will Do

Delivers or arranges appropriate spiritual care to patients, families, and staff. Provides crisis support to patients, families, and staff during Emergency Department Stabilization Room activations, Medical Emergencies, and other critical situations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree of at least 30 credits from a CHEA accredited (or international equivalent) institution in a content area relevant to chaplaincy
  • At least 800 hours of clinical training in spiritual/pastoral care such as Clinical Pastoral Education
  • Experience working with individuals from all religious backgrounds
  • Experience working with a diverse population
