Role OverviewThe University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates to apply for a Charter Authorizing Program Manager (Program Manager I) position within the School of Education. This position has a full-time equivalence (FTE) of .625 or 25 hours per week. The selected candidate will be a valued partner with diverse duties and the ability to take on tasks of varying complexity and challenge, particularly as their knowledge of the field of authorizing grows.
What You Will Do
The Authorizing Program Manager will coordinate and execute a variety of tasks central to the authorization of the University's portfolio of charter schools. Specific responsibilities and outcomes include serving as liaison for up to 7 schools, inputting, tracking and reporting on school-related data and information, conducting site visits and board observations, working in partnership with the Director to complete schools' annual evaluations and contract renewals, and assisting with network event planning.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Three years of program administration/office management
- Persons with interest/background in program evaluation, data analysis, law, public policy, social justice, and/or education may be best suited to the position
