Role Overview

We are currently searching for a Chassis Mechanic with MIG & TIG welding experience to join our team at our Garden City, GA location. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole. The Chassis Mechanic will diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.

What You Will Do

The Chassis Mechanic will perform tasks such as tank service and repair, trailer suspension installation and repair, experience with air brake systems and repairs, and ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skill in most of the following areas: MIG & TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience, tank service and repair, trailer suspension installation and repair, experience with air brake systems and repairs, and ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).
