Role OverviewWe are seeking a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant to assess client needs, perform level-of-care evaluations, coordinate resources, and provide group and individual SUD psychotherapy. The role requires outreach to referrals, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with community partners and internal teams to support individuals on their recovery journey.
What You Will Do
Conduct assessments of participant strengths, needs, and level of care to support substance use disorder treatment planning and placement. Provide and assist with individual and group substance use disorder services in alignment with treatment plans and evidence-informed practices.

Requirements
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- Active license to perform SUD psychotherapy issued by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board
- 3 years of related experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or related field
- Experience in a substance use program
