Chemical Engineering Co-Op

The co-op will work with the Plating Lab, Process Engineering, and the Materials Innovation Group to gain exposure to various laboratory tests, electroplating techniques, and new plating research areas. The position will be responsible for analyzing electroplating baths, completing assigned projects, and maintaining customer focus.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include learning the Samtec electroplating process, performing analytical procedures, completing post-plating quality checks, investigating customer and internal quality problems, and troubleshooting plating line problems.

Requirements

• Sophomore, Junior or Senior level student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team

• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
