Role Overview

We are looking for a Chemical Plant Operator to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte, MI. The Performance Materials division is at the forefront of the much-needed sustainability transformation in plastics. As a Chemical Plant Operator, you will be responsible for all aspects of personal safety, product quality, and operating all aspects of the reactors, as well as, filling, loading, and unloading systems and their auxiliary and utility equipment.

What You Will Do

Operate DCS and PLS systems, as well as environmental control systems. Read, record, and interpret data of different industrial equipment and make corrective adjustments as required to keep efficient production on reaction trains. Perform maintenance, i.e., purges, washes, dries, and recharges equipment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

If you have a High School Diploma/GED, 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, and are able to maintain facial hair to comply with site respirator policy, this position may be a good fit.
