Role OverviewThe Chemical Technician will assist in laboratory, research, or analytical work under the direction or supervision of scientific personnel. The role involves performing technical and intricate tasks requiring supervision, and working with a wide range of materials and equipment. The Chemical Technician will learn and assist in various chemical, coating, bonding, and painting operations.
What You Will Do
The Chemical Technician will perform various routine jobs of a skilled or semi-skilled nature, including working with adhesives, solvents, paints, and conformal coating, and using balance scales for proper mixing ratios. The role may also require work in a Cleanroom, and proper gowning up may be necessary.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, great attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and drawings. They will also have very good organizational skills in a laboratory environment, and knowledge of ESD and concepts would be preferable.
Requirements
- Graduation from a technical school desired
- Applicable experience desired
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) are essential
