Role Overview

The Chemist II is responsible for assisting with bioconjugation and protein purification. This person will work on multiple projects simultaneously and stay current with new techniques in bioconjugation and purification.

What You Will Do

Assist in the conjugation of proteins with various payloads, perform purification of proteins and conjugates, conduct analytical assays to characterize proteins and conjugates, and maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Strong laboratory skills, experience with analytical instrumentation, and a basic understanding of biochemistry, bioconjugation, and stoichiometry are required. Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel is also necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences or a related field
  • 1-2 years experience or Master’s degree with 0-1 year experience
  • Strong laboratory skills and experience with analytical instrumentation
  • Basic understanding of biochemistry, bioconjugation, and stoichiometry
  • Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel
