Job Description
The Chemistry Department at Temple University seeks a Department Instrumentation Manager to oversee an NMR laboratory and train students in safety and operations. The manager will also conduct minor repairs and support the education of students requiring advanced techniques.

Requirements

  • PhD in organic, inorganic, or analytical chemistry
  • Extensive experience in NMR spectroscopy
  • Prior experience in cryogen (liquid He, N2) maintenance and replenishment
  • Ability to work with various analytical instrumentation, including HPLCs, LC-Mass Spectrometers, and FTIR equipment
