Job Description
The Chief Accountant will oversee hotel on-site accounting functions, ensuring proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting, and analysis for the hotel. The role involves managing daily income audit, cash management, and preparing month-end adjustments and journal entries while adhering to GAAP, USALI, and SOX compliances.

Requirements

  • 2 years or more of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, and financial accounting system use (Oracle Preferred)
  • Work experience with Symphony, Opera, and Oracle preferred and/or ability to learn new hotel systems in a timely manner
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to assist with operations
