Chief Business Official (CBO)

The Chief Business Official (CBO) will lead the business operations of the Scotts Valley Unified School District. The CBO will be responsible for managing the district's finances, developing and implementing business strategies, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The CBO will work closely with the superintendent, school board, and other district staff to achieve the district's goals and objectives. The CBO will be a key member of the district's leadership team and will play a critical role in shaping the district's business operations.

What You Will Do

The CBO will be responsible for managing the district's finances, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting. The CBO will also be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, including procurement, contracts, and risk management. Additionally, the CBO will ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including those related to financial reporting, procurement, and employment practices.

Requirements
