Job Description
The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the building maintenance of the property, including interior and exterior, and ensuring technical competence and compliance with current codes and criteria.
Requirements
High School Degree; preferred education; AA degree in industry
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience as a Maintenance employee in a supervisory role in hi-rise buildings
HVAC Certified and/or have a comparable technical school certification
Strong working knowledge of basic trades, such as, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and painting standard principles and practices
Ability to analyze and interpret technical aspects, pumps, and motors, mechanical systems with a similar degree of complexity
Proficient and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications
Valid Florida driver's license
