Role OverviewWe are seeking a Chief Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of a large commercial facility. The ideal candidate will have a DC 3rd Class License and a minimum of three years of experience in a facility of comparable size and complexity.
What You Will Do
The Chief Engineer will be responsible for assigning work to subordinates, providing quality control services, performing diagnostic and repairs on building systems, and preparing work schedules. They will also be required to train or arrange for training of contractor employees and administer the CMMS requirements daily.

Requirements
- Valid DC Third Class Stationary Engineer License
- Pass a background check
- A minimum of three years of experience in a facility of comparable size and complexity requiring similar services
- BAS/EMS experience
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining all MEP systems and associated equipment
- Knowledge of the composition, operation, and installation of a variety of MEP systems, circuits, equipment, and controls
- Knowledge of national and local applicable and respective MEP codes
- Ability to read, review, and understand blueprints
