Job Description
Role Overview

The Chief Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing full maintenance responsibilities for an off-campus medical office building, ensuring optimal client/tenant satisfaction, and maintaining policies, procedures, standards, and reporting related to all maintenance functions.

What You Will Do

Coordinate with General Manager, oversee routine repairs and preventative maintenance, respond to tenant calls, perform daily rounds, and maintain a safe and pleasant environment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires 7-10 years of related work experience and technical training, preferably in healthcare, commercial real estate, or hospital environments, and a Maryland 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer license.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • 7-10 years of related work experience
  • Maryland 2nd Grade Stationary Engineer license
  • CFC handling certification
  • Ability to lift and move 100-pound objects
  • Ability to read/understand blueprints
  • Demonstrated experience in oversight of energy savings efforts
