Role OverviewThe Chief Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of all physical aspects of the hotel, condo building, and grounds. Develops and implements a maintenance program that is cost-effective, efficient and meets the needs of the building’s guests and staff.
What You Will Do
Manage a team of professionals, oversee physical aspects of the hotel, develop and implement a comprehensive preventative and ongoing maintenance program, respond to maintenance requests, and monitor and maintain various hotel systems.

Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a Facilities/Engineering Director or similar role for a hotel or condo facility with at least 400 units
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage a team and outside contractors
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, kitchen equipment, laundry, life safety and security systems
- Ability to develop and manage a budget
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
