Job Description
We are seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the safe and efficient operation of our facilities refrigeration systems, material handling equipment, and maintain all aspects of facility infrastructure and grounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial refrigeration systems, federal and state regulatory compliance programs, and mechanical skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • RET-A certified
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance and operation of industrial refrigeration systems
  • Strong knowledge in federal and state regulatory compliance programs
  • Working knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems (e.g. anhydrous ammonia)
  • Knowledge of capital and major repair budgeting
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints and P&IDs
  • Knowledge of refrigeration control systems, microprocessors, and asset management systems
  • Knowledge of mechanics and mechanical skills
