Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees the finance and accounting functions, financial compliance, and PLS’s offices. This role involves partnering with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to develop a financial plan supporting the Center’s strategic goals, and managing financial institutions and investment advisor relationships. The CFO is also responsible for risk management, leading team development, and supporting the board of directors.

Requirements

  • Develop the operational and strategic plans for the finance and administrative functions.
  • Oversee the financial planning process and $100M operating budget.
  • Manage financial institution and investment advisor relationships.
  • Monitor internal control environment and activities.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reporting.
  • Serve as a key leader and build internal relationships.
  • Manage a comprehensive risk program.
  • Manage long-term facility planning and maintenance.
  • Hire, train, establish and monitor staff performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial audits, and preparation of tax returns.
