Role OverviewThe Chief Medical Officer is responsible for the coordination, direction, and planning of all medical affairs within the hospital, ensuring continuing operations and clinical functions remain in accordance with policies and standards set by the PHC Board, PHC Management, and/or Medical Staff.
What You Will Do
Develops, implements, and maintains all essential medical services and clinical operations, assures conformance to standards set by the Board and Executive Management Team, and governmental regulations.

Must be an expert of clinical operations, controls, and clinical practice regulation, with strong leadership and communication skills, and a foundation to lead complex performance and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Eight (8) years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Licensed physician in the state of Georgia
- Board certified in a specialty recognized by the ABMS
- Masters prepared/MBA MHA, MPH, preferred
