Role OverviewThe Chief of Maintenance is responsible for leading the maintenance team to ensure guests have a comfortable and problem-free stay. The role involves overseeing daily operations, performing basic repairs, and troubleshooting technical devices. The Chief of Maintenance must also greet and assist guests, and support the goals of each hotel through teamwork and collaboration.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Chief of Maintenance include hiring and training maintenance staff, performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting technical devices, and overseeing safety programs and key control. The role also involves greeting and assisting guests, and supporting the goals of each hotel.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years of progressive facilities management experience, or a 2-year college degree and 1 year of related management experience. You must also have HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPO certification a definite plus
