Job Description
Reports to the Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Manages daily operations of the Perfusion Division of the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an allied health field, perfusion, or related scientific field
  • Graduate of an accredited Perfusion program
  • 7 years of experience as a Perfusionist
  • PERFUSIONIST - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certified
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT through course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT through course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Active Perfusion license by Texas Medical Board
