Job Description
The Chief Perfusionist manages daily operations of the Perfusion Division and promotes a culture of safety and quality in patient care. The role involves operating extracorporeal circulation and autotransfusion equipment, providing standby support for cath lab procedures, and mentoring team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an allied health field, perfusion, or related scientific field
  • Graduate of an accredited Perfusion program
  • 7 years of experience as a Perfusionist
  • PERFUSIONIST - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certified
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT through course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT through course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Active Perfusion license by Texas Medical Board
