Job Description
The Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) is hiring a Chief Product Development Officer to lead all software application development at OTI and citywide. The successful candidate will be responsible for instituting modern product development practices, overseeing the evaluation and procurement of application packages, and establishing a great working relationship with CIOs at all agencies.

Requirements

  • User-centric and outcomes-driven leadership
  • Experience with product management, user research, UX & UI design, enterprise architecture, implementation, quality assurance, build & release management, devops, performance testing, integration, data analytics and reporting, geospatial analysis
  • Familiarity with Lean, Agile, Design Thinking, Continuous Discovery, Rapid Prototyping, DevOps & Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Containerization, Open Source, Data-Driven & AI-Assisted Development
  • Ability to partner with internal teams and CIOs at all agencies
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for the software development industry
