Role OverviewThe Chief Special Procedures Technologist oversees the performance of procedures through the operation and supervision of radiographic equipment and personnel. The incumbent manages the day-to-day operations and the daily administrative duties ensuring efficient workflow of the section, compliance with budgetary policy, and promotes high level quality care and compliance to state/federal/JC regulations, departmental/hospital policies and procedures, objectives, and philosophy.
What You Will Do
Directs, coordinates, and oversees the daily activities and operations of Interventional Radiology (IR), to ensure efficient operations, quality and timely results reporting, and superior, consistent customer service. Performs full array of IR cases to support the IR technologist team and IR Physicians. Provides On-call coverage as needed to support the department.

Requirements
- Associate degree in relevant field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- State of Florida General Radiographer License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified in Vascular Interventional Radiology
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
