Job Description
The Auditor of State's office is seeking a Chief Technical Specialist to provide technical guidance on local government accounting, interpreting GASB/GAAP pronouncements, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
  • Four years of professional experience in governmental accounting
  • Certification as a CPA, CGFO, or CGFM may be beneficial
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Ability to understand complex technical accounting issues
