Role OverviewAssist the teacher with education and care services in a Child Care Center, planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons for cognitive, physical, and social emotional development.
What You Will Do
Provide day-to-day care, observe, assess, and document developmental milestones of children, and assist with meal preparation and cleanup.

Requirements
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or commissioner of education-selected high school equivalency certification plus 2,080 hours worked as an aide or student intern
- Minnesota license as a family day care or group family day care provider plus 2,080 hours worked as a licensed family day care or group family day care provider
- Diploma from Association Montessori Internationale or preprimary credential, primary diploma, or provisional certificate from the American Montessori Society plus 520 hours worked as an aide or student intern
- Minnesota technical institute certificate as a Child Development Assistant plus 520 hours worked as an aide or student intern
- Two years full-time postsecondary education from a college or university plus 1,040 hours worked as an aide or student intern
- Child Development Associate credential, center based or for family day care, from the Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition
- Baccalaureate degree in any field from an accredited college or university
- Certificate or credential for a two-year program in child development or early childhood education at a Minnesota community college or technical college
- License from the Minnesota Department of Children, Families, and Learning for Prekindergarten Associate
