Role OverviewThe Lead Teacher is responsible for administering child care programs at designated YMCA program sites. This includes creating and implementing lesson plans, maintaining site records, and additional program responsibilities to ensure state licensure compliance and overall effective program management.
What You Will Do
Maintain safety of children, implement age-appropriate techniques, plan and develop lesson plans, complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports, maintain a file system, provide coverage of program, and communicate with supervisor.

Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma
- Certification in CPR, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration
- Minimum 2 years working in a licensed childcare program
- Previous experience working with diverse populations
- Minimum 1-year experience working with Microsoft office products
- Minimum 1 years' experience with all ODJFS licensing procedures and Step Up to Quality requirements
