Role OverviewThe Child Care Monitor I will conduct planned activities for the Before and After School Care on-site program to ensure a safe and enriching experience for participants. The role involves supervising children, setting standards for behavior, and maintaining a cooperative relationship with staff and parents.

Responsibilities include direct supervision of play areas, ensuring safety and quality, participating in activity evaluation and scheduling, and reporting incidents to personnel.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with school-age children in a group supervision setting
- Ability to complete BASCC Comprehensive Child Care Components I and II within the first year
- Completion of Florida Department of Children and Families (My Florida) three modules within the first year
- 10 hours of approved BASCC Child Care training per year
- Computer skills
