What You Will Do
Implement care and activities of children in residence, provide individual and group counseling, and assist in conducting mother-child and family therapeutic sessions.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of child care, prevention activities, and early childhood development
- Knowledge of the basic principles, practices, and procedures involved in an alcohol and drug program
- Knowledge of the drug and alcohol abusing subculture
- Knowledge of the physical and emotional characteristics and manifestations of alcohol and drug dependency
- Ability to work effectively with people and aid them in adjusting to specific problems
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and outside agencies
