Role OverviewThe Child Watch Staff is responsible for leading developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 0-12, ensuring their well-being, health, and safety, and providing excellent member service to families. The staff must be comfortable working with children, co-workers, and communicating with member families and supervisors. They must model the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
What You Will Do
The Child Watch employee will be responsible for the health and safety of the children, leading intentional activities, actively engaging with children, and managing child behaviors. They will also follow YMCA practices and procedures, attend staff trainings and meetings, and maintain the safety and cleanliness of Y facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working in child care settings, and certification in CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Training.
