Role OverviewAs a Child Welfare Case Manager, you will work cooperatively with our team of case managers and maintain relationships with supervisory staff, community resource providers, and children and families. You will participate in staff development opportunities and maintain child welfare certification through on-going training.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include completing case notes, preparing for and attending court activities, developing and completing judicial reviews, assessments, making referrals, arranging placements, conducting home studies, and facilitating family contacts.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or other related human service field
- One year of relevant social services experience working with children and families
- Child Welfare Certification: Will be required to participate in certification training and obtain certification upon completion of training
- Possess a current Background Clearance Screening Letter
- Possess a valid drivers license and be insurable by the agency's current insurance carrier if using a company automobile
- Possess skills necessary to understand and evaluate risk factors for child abuse and neglect
- Thorough computer skills including all Microsoft office products
