Role OverviewChild Welfare Case Managers are responsible for participating in staff development opportunities and maintaining child welfare certification through on-going training. They work cooperatively with our team of case managers and maintain relationships with supervisory staff, community resource providers with children and families, including awareness of and attention to achievement of permanency, satisfaction with services, and overall safety of children.
What You Will Do
Accurately completes case notes, prepares for and attends court activities, develops and completes judicial reviews, assessments, makes referrals, arranges placements, conducts home studies, facilitates family contacts, conducts minimum monthly face-to-face contacts with children, parents, relatives and others, reviews and assesses the familys progress made toward achieving case plan goals, supports foster and adoptive families, negotiates subsidy agreements with adoptive parents, completes required adoption paperwork, meets adoption goals.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or other related human service field
- one year of relevant social services experience working with children and families
- Child Welfare Certification
