Job Description
We are looking for a caring and energetic member to join ChildServe as a Childcare Teacher Assistant. This individual will contribute to a positive, nurturing environment that is safe, clean and organized for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years old.

Requirements

  • Ability to meet health and safety requirements, including passing a ChildServe physical exam and adhering to any applicable COVID-19 protocols.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, remain mobile in classroom and playground environments, and perform frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and standing.
  • Ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, Mandatory Reporter, Standard Precautions, and DHS Pre-Service Essential Training certifications within 90 days of hire.
  • Effective communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • High school diploma or GED required; prior experience providing care and supervision for children preferred.
