Job Description
We are seeking a COOK to join our team at New Horizon Academy! The ideal candidate has a positive and reliable work ethic, is passionate about working with young children, and can follow USDA guidelines and sanitize kitchens.

Requirements

  • Have a positive and reliable work ethic
  • Be able to work full-time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday), and be flexible with scheduling
  • Have a passion for working with young children
  • Meet New Horizon's requirements for sanitizing kitchens
  • Follow USDA Guidelines and all requirements necessary to meet standards
  • Meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines
  • Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations
  • Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
  • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations
  • Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies
