Childcare Site Director – Before & After School

We're hiring a Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Park Elementary School in Columbia, PA. The successful candidate will lead engaging activities, supervise children and staff, and maintain safe staff-to-child ratios. The program operates from 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM and 3:05 PM-6:05 PM, with opportunities for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include regulatory and licensing leadership, program and staff leadership, and operations and communication. You will ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations, lead engaging activities, and oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Bachelor's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13.
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 3 years of experience working with children under 13.
• Associate's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or the human services field plus 4 years of experience working with children under 13.
• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
