Role OverviewAssists in the daily educational plan within the classroom, plans activities, and maintains a developmentally appropriate classroom environment. Works in a team setting with other staff to meet the needs of the child. Must complete 15 hours of professional development annually and maintain certifications for First Aid/CPR and Food Handlers.
What You Will Do
Assists in the follow through of the daily educational plan, sets up and maintains a developmentally appropriate classroom environment, completes required documentation, and works in a team setting with other staff.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months experience in a structured early childhood education setting
- Able to work effectively with families
- Able to use a positive approach in directing child behavior
- Able to work cooperatively as a team member
- Must be able to satisfy a criminal record check, Department of Human Services (DHS) background check, and to enroll and maintain enrollment in the State of Oregon Criminal History Registry
- Must have a valid First Aid/CPR Card, Food Handlers card or be able to obtain it within 60 days of employment
