Job Description
City Assessor conducts complex analyses of properties to derive conclusions of value and assists in the settlement or trial of petitions to reduce real estate taxes.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time experience in real estate work involving the valuation of real property
  • Ability to collect and record property inventory data, prepare comparable sales analysis reports, and prepare signed valuation or appraisal estimates or reports using cost, income or market data approaches to value
