Job Description
City Laborer position at NYCHA under the supervision of the Carpenter supervisor, performing common laboring work assisting in routine maintenance and repair work, and operating motor vehicles.

Requirements

  • Perform labor requiring physical strength in the support of maintenance functions on NYCHA properties.
  • Move, lift, and carry items of various weight and sizes.
  • May utilize hand or power-driven equipment in the performance of duties.
  • May be required to operate motor vehicles in connection with the performance of duties.
  • May oversee the daily activity of other laborers in the performance of their duties.
