Job Description
As a Civil Design Engineer, you will lead the charge in developing engineering designs, crafting construction documents, and collaborating with design professionals, managers, clients, and public agencies. You will work on exciting projects for esteemed clients, including the State of Florida and private developers, and master a comprehensive set of career-building skills.

Requirements

  • 3-15 years of technical experience in transportation design
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineering Intern (EI), Engineer In Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • FDOT experience
  • Experience with MicroStation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite of tools (Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively document design decisions and calculations
  • Positive, energetic, and cooperative attitude with clients and internal staff
