Role OverviewWe are looking for a Civil Design Technician with 6+ years of experience to join our Discipline team in Austin, Texas. The person in this position will implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards, develop technical drawings and plans, and supervise and train CAD staff.
What You Will Do
The person in this position will make and quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity, perform multifaceted calculations, and maintain a drawing database. They will also develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.

Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
- Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products
