Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer with 6+ years of aviation-related experience to join their Aviation team. The successful candidate will support a wide range of airside and landside design projects at commercial service and general aviation airports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 6+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably with a focus on aviation or transportation infrastructure
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6-12 months (preferred)
  • Previous experience working on airport projects (Part 139 airports, FAA-funded projects) (preferred)
  • Familiarity with construction administration and QA/QC procedures (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of FAA design criteria and engineering standards (preferred)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard design tools (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
  • Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and site visits (preferred)
