Job Description
Placer County is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead an engineering team and provide technical support to management staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to lead and a high comfort level with oral and written communications. The position involves supervision, leadership, and direction of professional, technical, and clerical staff, as well as participation in budget preparation and administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Five years of increasingly responsible experience in engineering, including two years of supervisory responsibility
  • Possession of a Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in an appropriate discipline as issued by the State of California
  • Valid driver's license, proof of adequate vehicle insurance, and medical clearance
