Role OverviewAs a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) at Walker Partners, you will work alongside experienced engineering, surveying, and construction management teams to gain hands-on experience across various civil engineering disciplines. You will assist project teams, collaborate with engineers, and design drainage, streets, paving, and grading plans, stormwater systems, water distribution and transmission systems, and prepare master plans and reports for municipal and land development projects.
What You Will Do
Use technical software to develop, analyze, and quality-check engineering plans and technical specifications. Support civil engineering efforts, work with project managers and cross-functional teams, and build working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (from ABET Accredited Civil Engineering Program)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
- 2-5 years of experience in municipal infrastructure and/or land development projects
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) - required
