Job Description

Civil Engineer – Land Development job description: designs site plans, prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout, assists in production of final construction drawings, and more. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS office. Must have a valid driver's license. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering and 0-2 years related experience.

Requirements

Designs site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
Prepares and computes, but not limited to due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinion of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis.
Assists in production of final construction drawings.
Prepares permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
Assists project managers as requested.
Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Attends client and public meetings- days or evenings.
Participates in business development efforts as requested.
