Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the engineering and construction of civil engineering projects.
Responsible for the coordination and supervision of engineering work performed in water mains and water meters, stormwater, sanitary sewers, general engineering, traffic, and other engineering projects.

Candidates with experience in Public Works or Capital Improvement Projects is a plus.
Some travel may be required for inspections and/or managing projects in the assigned area.

Requirements

  • Florida Licensed Professional Engineering (PE)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering discipline, and four (4) years of practical engineering experience, including two (2) years of civil engineering experience
  • Considerable knowledge of civil engineering practices and procedures involving water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway and bridge plan design, or floodplain management
  • Skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously
