As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, designing, and controlling the activities of projects to best accomplish the successful completion while operating within established schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policy constraints.

What You Will Do

Conduct design concept of professional, economical, and effective sets of plans and specifications. Manage projects, oversee, and delegate tasks, and engage in design of projects. Lead complex hydraulic design projects for municipal water distribution, collection systems, and treatment facilities. Engineer pump stations from concept to commissioning, including electrical controls, telemetry, and automation systems.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate should possess a background in project management and hands-on experience in the planning and design of water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. Experience with municipal roadways, sidewalks, and stormwater management would be highly beneficial.

Requirements

  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred
  • Other disciplines to be considered with experience
  • Advanced degree or experience in project management desirable
  • Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience is preferred
  • Registration (or ability to attain) as a Professional Engineer in MA is preferred
  • Sound mathematical skills are required
  • Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Leadership acumen is essential
  • Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required
