Role Overview

As a Civil Manager, you will lead technical design teams in creating conceptual layouts and designs for water resources projects, including flood control, storm drains, pump stations, and green stormwater projects. You will be responsible for managing the preparation of comprehensive construction package deliverables, developing hydrologic and hydraulic models, permit applications, and technical studies.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include generating conceptual layouts/designs of flood control structures, floodgates, channels, culverts, headwalls, detention ponds, spillways, rock drains, and underground storm drain systems. You will also serve as lead engineer or discipline lead on mid- to large size projects, work with existing and potential clients to provide long-term stormwater management solutions, and develop project proposals.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 Years of related experience in drainage design or demonstrated equivalence of experience and or education
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) in CA or ability to obtain within 6 months of work
